To help you understand how to plan your party we have created a party planning guide.
Planning your party: Things to consider before planning an event, party or night out.
- Think about your budget, can you get any discounts or packages? Just Ask.
- Find out what kind of party, crowd and music you are attending.
- Plan your travel and time of travel.
- How many people are definitely coming.
- Confirm party or guest list before attending.
- Send all information to your party/group (I.D. requirements dress code, time, behaviour etc)
- Stick to you budget and ask about addition costs. Some places have service charge which can effect you bill. So ask us first.
Do:
- Get your name our party on guest list before you attend.
- make sure you Receive confirmation text or email.
- Plan route and time of travel.
- Inform all your party about I.D. requirements, dress code and time. (plan a meeting point)
- Give at least 30 minutes space (better early then late) 70% of ruined parties are because of people panicking because the run late.
- Never panic even if others in your group run late, get in and party. The others can join in later. (we can adjust on some occasions)
- Know the guest list you are on (All Nights Parties Guest list, Sara allnightparties Guest list)
- Make sure you say guest list name when you arrive (show text confirmation if needed)
- Call your contact just before you arrive, on occasions they can get you quicker access or queue jump at that time.
- Queue up patiently and quote the guest list name to the door person. (usually with a clip board)
- Do let the company know if you do not think you will get in, let the company know why. Too many gents in group, no ID, one member with incorrect dress code, you are running late.
- Inform your contact regarding any changes quickly.
Do not:
- Do not turn up highly intoxicated (drunk), be patient as the door gets busy on occasions,
- Do not show attitude as that will cancel your guest list at most venues, Understand the door do have the right to turn a group away.
- Do not quote several guest lists at the door, it confuses door staff and could cause you a delay or even cancel your list.
- Do not lie about requirements or group information. The company usually plans for a group and any changes must be given to the guest list provider as soon as possible. Do not be worried just be honest.
Hosting with Guest list
- Hosting usually means the company will also have a table or area in the venue and some drinks included. (sometimes)
- Find out if this is available or can be arrange. (usually for bigger groups and special occasions)
- The company will only usually host the guests who confirm and come in on their guest lists it is only fair for all. (confirm if you want to join host table or require one)
- Be patient and wait for table to be set up.
- Enjoy the party.
Health and Safety
- Stay safe and vigilant at all times.
- Watch your drinks.
- Watch your possessions and keep them close.
- Avoid arguments especially with drunk guests.
- Find out the fire exit routes.
- Wash your hands after toilet.
- Tell a member of staff if concerned about anything.
- Be patient and never lose control or panic.
- Know your limit.
- Do not accept lift if you do not know someone, get a cab and make sure friends see and take registration.
- Everything usually goes according to plan if you stick to the plan and stay relaxed, but also have a plan b.
